Back by popular demand, the Harbor Festival will offer, in a special designated area, the Festival will offer wine tasting from local wineries, distributed by Classic Wines of California. If patrons find a wine they love, they can purchase a full glass of that wine. Wineries include Rancho Sisquoc, Cass Wines, Robert Hall Winery, Hearst Ranch Wines, and Changala Winery.
Freshly caught seafood from local fishermen along the Embarcadero will include:
· Oysters, albacore, and spot prawns - Morro Bay Fisherman’s Association
· Stuffed avocados - Central Coast Women for Fisheries
· BBQd Albacore booth
Throughout the day, educational exhibits will provide information about local resources. Do you want to know what it takes to put fresh seafood on the table? Check out a baiting demo, a fish display, a touch tank, watch a commercial net being made and much, much more.
“Hawaiian Shirt” Contest:
Come on and show off that daring Hawaiian shirt that you have hidden away in the back of your closet. Dare to bear your wild side and wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt and let our audience at the Festival decide which one will be the first, second, and third place winners. The top three will take home an awesome prize.
Throughout the entire weekend, many Embarcadero restaurants will offer seafood specials and live entertainment starting Friday and culminating with Sunday brunch opportunities.
