Morro Bay has many new things for you to learn and try with camps, classes and more!  Looking to get outside, get moving or get creating, there is the perfect program for all skill levels, ages and activities.  Some programs have limited availability so be sure to register early to reserve your spot! 
 

Active

Standup Paddleboard Yoga –
The Paddleboard Co. offers a SUP Yoga class on the bay every Saturday at 9 am (weather dependent).  And the best part?  No standup paddleboarding or yoga experience necessary!
Dance, Meditation & Yoga –
Omni has a variety of classes including a yoga & theatre dance camp in July for kids.  You’ll also want to keep an eye out for their periodic free class offer.
City of Morro Bay Recreation Services -
Zumba, Pickleball, dance (including belly dancing, line dancing and dance fusion), Karate, swim lessons and pool programing...Rec Services offers a variety of classes and drop in opportunities for all ages. 
Sailing Lessons –
Learn how to sail during the Morro Bay Yacht Club’s summer sailing classes.  Weekday and weekend classes are available. 

Creative

Art Center Classes –
Art Center Morro Bay offers artist directed classes that cover the gamut of mediums and styles from watercolor, pottery and drawing, to coloring, resin, succulents and painting.  Kid and adult classes are available.
Watercolor Workshop –
On the first Saturday of each month, David J Rodgers Fine Art Gallery hosts a watercolor workshop after hours at their studio.  Snacks, beverages and all the necessary art materials are provided.
Create your own Jewelry –
Have you ever dreamed of taking a jewelry making class in a secret garden?  If you have, or even if you haven’t until now, Beads by the Bay offers a variety of art and craft courses in their outdoor classroom.

Educational

Hands on Science for Elementary & Middle Schoolers –
Delphinus School of Natural History is an outdoor science program for elementary and middle school students.  This summer, programing in Morro Bay includes exploring the Morro Bay Estuary and a Marine Science class.    
Adventures with Nature –
Join one of the many docent-led hikes, classes, and workshops throughout the year to learn more about Morro Bay’s natural surroundings.  Generally, they are free!  Some upcoming events include Birding for Beginners, Summer Solstice Celebration and Salt Marsh to Mud Flats. 
Morro Bay Library –
Book discussions, storytime for kids, movie showings, crafts, history talks and drumming circles there is a lot to discover at the Morro Bay Library.
