Join us at the Bay Theater for two educational movies. SPEARA follows Mitsuki, a 26-year-old world champion spear fisher who left Japan at 16 and found purpose in California — a story of healing, identity, and ocean connection. Q&A to follow SPEARA with filmmaker Florian Baron and star Mitsuki. The second movie OF MARSHES AND MORROS is a short documentary film that tells the inspiring story of how a small but biologically rich estuary in Central Coast California — Morro Bay — was recognized and protected by the community. Admission is $15. You can purchase tickets online Here or at the Maritime Museum 1210 Front St. open 10am - 3pm. All profits fund Museum programs.
