Morro Bay is a small beach front community between San Luis Obispo and Cambria off of Highway 1. Morro Rock is one of the seven sister of extinct volcanoes. The rock was a navigational aid for sailors, but visitor and locals love to have view of the rock from every angle, it's a memorizing site. Morro Bay has a micro climate so it is important to pack for cool to warm weather in one day. Bird enthusiast come and visit, Morro Bay designated national bird sanctuary.
