Customers can request wineries from those that The Wine Line service or ask us to curate an itinerary for them. We then book the appointments and take customers to and from the wineries throughout the day. The way the Semi-Private Tours work is, we may have some folks on board when we pick them up, or to pick up after, and then we get them started on the “loop” they’ve chosen.
Customers “hop off” at their first winery appointment, we walk them up, introduce them to the staff who will conduct their pouring and tasting. Then, we take the other folks who may have been on board to their desired wineries. We return to them, approximately 15mins prior to their next appointment, and from that point on it almost feels like a private tour, because we take them point-to-point, from winery to winery. So, while they’re tasting, we’re shuttling others, and while the others are tasting, we’re shuttling them.
The Wine Line has 3 different fares for the two tour types: A la Carte - no lunch or tasting fees included, offers the most freedom to choose wineries and lunch plans. Lunch Provided – same freedom as A la Carte except we provide a delicious made-to-order lunch; All-Inclusive Package – includes lunch and tasting fees at their choice of up to 4 from a specific list of Partner wineries.
