The Flower Machine will be at the Siren on July 19th from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The Band is one of the longest-running neo-psychedelic rock bands from California, debuting in 2004 with their album Chalk Dust Dream of the Tea Cozy Mitten Company. The band has had half-a-dozen records released on Micro Indie Records, small room (EMI Thailand), Rainbow Quartz, and Hypnotic Bridge Records. Known for their dense, heavily overdubbed sound and frequent use of vintage synthesizers and mellotrons, The Flower Machine kicked off 2025 with all-new album entitled Waterloo Green, which received favorable coverage from Shindig Magazine in London.
Led by Dutch American singer and guitarist Peter Quinnell, they draw inspiration from Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd, Dutch legends The Outsiders, and Kevin Ayers. New to the Morro Bay scene, they provide an authentic retro-psych vibe unlike anything you've ever heard. This is their first local performance since moving up to Morro Bay from Los Angeles and will feature special guests.
