2026 - 2028 Term Openings
Two (2) Hotel Seats and One (1) Business Seat are opening for July 2026 - June 2028 terms.
- Hotel, Inn, and Motel board members must be owners or managers with at least one property within Morro Bay city limits.
- Business board member must be owner or manager of a licensed tourism business within Morro Bay city limits. Board members are committed to attending six in person board meetings per year.
- Incumbents have expressed interest in re-election for these seats.
- Deadline to apply is July 10, 2026.

Board meetings are bi-monthly beginning with the fiscal year in July followed by September, November, January, March and May. The in-person meetings are the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:00am - 11:00am. The November meeting is usually held on the third Thursday due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
