Morro Strand State Beach
Just two miles north of Morro Rock is a sandy paradise with plenty of room to spread out and stay a while. Explore the dunes, search for sand dollars, watch the surfers, and play in the sand while you listen to waves crash onto the shore. Beach access and parking is located off Atascadero Rd off Highway 1, from San Jacinto Street just past The Cloisters Park, or from Morro Strand State RV Park and campground. Sorry, no dogs are allowed on this portion of the beach.
