11:00am - Bike Parade - Deck out your bike in your patriotic best! No motorized bikes and under the age of 18 must wear helmet. Meet at northside of the Morro Creek Bridge by 11:00 am to Ride to Tidelands Park. Patriotic decor suggested!

Activities at Tidelands Park - Kid's Carnival, Food, Lawn Games and Music!

Play carnival games, bounce in the bounce house, and win patriotic prizes. Family-fun games and contests played throughout the day! *Bring cash for food & drink vendors.

BRIAN WATERBURY ROCK TO PIER RUN & HALF MARATHON

Join us for the 55th running of the Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run. This point to point race is held completely on the beach (hard packed sand) from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. Lighthouse Century Bicycling Event

Bicycle Event -The San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club hosts the 2025 Lighthouse Century on Saturday, Sept. 27th along the gorgeous Central California coast in Morro Bay, CA. We offer flat and more challenging 50, 75 and 100-mile routes that follows scenic Highway 1 north. Morro Bay Maritime Family Fun Day

Join us at the Morro Bay Maritime Museum on October 11th, 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm for their Family Fun Day celebrating Morro Bay's fabulous maritime identity! This will be a fun filled day of fish painting, knot tying, sandcastle building, fishing games and more! The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be bringing an exhibit, the Lion’s Club will be selling hot dogs, and so much more!

Witches and Warlocks Paddle

On Oct. 26th, 2025, breakout your broomstick and get out on the water for the Annual Witches & Warlocks Paddle in Morro Bay! This bewitching event is open to the public and benefits the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County. Don your favorite witch or warlock costume and meet at Coleman Park, 101 Coleman Drive at the north end of the bay along the Embarcadero, for a ghoulish afternoon on the water.

Morro Bay Triathlon

This destination triathlon event takes place on Morro Bay's waterfront beginning with a harbor swim or if you prefer, a kayak or SUP paddle.

This unique event also has Olympic and sprint courses that take participants on a bike ride along beautiful Estero Bay, and ends with a run on the beach boardwalk, over the sand dunes and along the beach, ending at Morro Rock. For more information or to register CLICK HERE.

Santa’s House at the Embarcadero

Santa's Coming to the Embarcadero! Come visit Jolly ol’ Saint Nick & get a picture. Admission is free! Santa will be welcoming families on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 8pm and Sundays from 12 pm to 4pm the first 3 weekends of December. Friday December 5th. Santa will be at the Tree Lighting at City Park and will come to his house at 6pm. Santa's house is at the corner of Embarcadero and Front St.

Lighted Boat Parade

The Lighted Boat Parade will be held on Saturday December 6, 2025 starting at 6:30 p.m. on the Morro Bay Embarcadero. Be dazzled as our fishing, leisure and yachting community takes to the water in decorated boats with bright lights and holiday cheer. Viewing areas are all along the Embarcadero from Tidelands Park at 339 Embarcadero to the Rock. Many restaurants have window seating. Parking and walking to the Embarcadero is encouraged to avoid parking challenges along the waterfront. To view from your car, arrive early, and try Tidelands Park, designated parking along the road to the Rock and Franklin Riley Park at 442 Morro Ave.
*If weather or wind cancels and makes the Parade unsafe on Dec. 6th, There will be no rescheduling of the parade.
The Rotary Santa House located near the Giant Chessboard opens at 5:00 p.m. before the parade. Hot chocolate, coffee and cookies with be available the night of the Parade. Morro Bay White Caps Band will play Holiday music at the South T-Pier starting at 5:30 p.m.
