Lighted Boat Parade

Get into the holiday spirit in true Morro Bay fashion as our fishing and boating community takes to the water with vessels decked out in bright lights and festive cheer. View from the Embarcadero along the walkways from Tidelands Park to the Rock. Grab a table and support our independent eateries if you'd like to view from a window seat with a meal. Parking downtown and walking to the Embarcadero is encouraged to avoid parking and traffic congestion at the waterfront.

The Santa House located at Centennial Parkway, will open at 5:00 p.m. before the parade. Hot chocolate, coffee and cookies with be available. The Morro Bay White Caps Band will play holiday music at the South T-Pier starting at 5:30 p.m.

Have a boat and want to be in the parade? It's easy! Get the application HERE. Scroll down the website page for the link. Turn in application to the Morro Bay Harbor Patrol Office with the $30 application fee on or before December 5, 2025 (4 PM). You will receive your boat number at that time.

If weather or wind makes the parade unsafe on Dec. 5th, there will be no rescheduling of the event.
