SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH: LAZY SUNDAY BRUNCH / HAIR OF THE DOG DAY
Unless you were the DD (or didn’t party hard enough!), you and many others will likely be celebrating Hair of the Dog Day – an unofficial Morro Bay holiday that ensues the Avocado and Margarita Festival. Typically, we spend this holiday away from work to enjoy a late-morning breakfast and mimosa at one of our delicious breakfast cafes. From country fried steaks to eggs benedicts and amazing vegan pancakes, there’s a pick-me-up for all hangovers in Morro Bay’s cafes. Don’t forget to grab some fresh air – Morro Rock’s harbor walkway is a perfect morning stroll to wake you up, located across the street from the smoke stacks. No need to dress up – put on your dark sunglasses and find one of the amazing breakfast joints only steps from your hotel. For a list of Morro Bay restaurants, click HERE.
